I'm commandeering this vehicle for police business
A few weeks ago I had a conversation with one of my friends about whether real-life police have the authority to commandeer your vehicle like they do in the movies. I wrote myself a note to research it on Google, but forgot until just now. I'm not surprised that Snopes has already covered this important issue.
In California, it seems to be legal. I don't have a car, so I don't have to worry about that for the time being, but check what else is on the books in my sunshiny state:
