Just the Good Old Boys...

If I were in Tennessee this weekend, I would be at DukesFest 2004. According to the CNN article I just read, this year's festival marks the 25th anniversary of the Dukes of Hazzard TV show. I watched this show a lot when I was little. When I lived in New York, I once saw Tom Wopat (a.k.a. Luke Duke) on Broadway in Guys and Dolls, and I almost fell out of the balcony when I realized who he was. But I think the thing that makes me the most nostalgic about this show is the narration by Waylon Jennings. If I'm ever in a high-speed car chase through the backwoods of Georgia, I hope I hear his voice in my head.
